Classes

 

In my class you work at your own level and ability in a non competitive way. Postures are modified to suit individuals, there will always be a softer version or one to challenge and stretch you. Safe practice, avoiding injury, undue stress or additional strain is a big part of the way we practice and the way I teach. 

 

Classes are for adults of all abilities, shapes and sizes. We focus on physical postures , including twists, forward and backward bends, balances and inversions. We build up gradually to increase mobilization and flexibility through correct alignment and breathing practices. 

 

There is always a relaxation session at the end, the reward for engaging and working the muscles! Releasing all the tension, letting go of the day, making space in the body and mind...it's all there.

 

What do I need?

  • a mat 

  • a blanket 

  • yoga belt

  • yoga blocks

  • small hand held weights

  • comfortable clothing you can move in

  • warm clothes for relaxation

  • a light meal before class
