Welcome to Hatha Yoga classes. I'm Angela and I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years. My yoga keeps me supple and sane and I would not be without it.

My Qualifications:
I started working life as a Primary School teacher and have an Honours Degree in Education. I have also been an Advice, Information and Support Officer with my local council for parents of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
I am a qualified British Wheel of Yoga Teacher and have completed my Level 4 Diploma.
I am also a qualified Pregnancy yoga teacher. In November 2019 I added to my training to become a British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course Tutor. In 2022 I qualified in back care yoga.  In 2023 I qualified in teaching Yoga Nidra. I hold a relevant and current First Aid Certificate.
I love what I'm doing, I love practicing and learning about yoga and I love teaching other people yoga.
If I'm not doing Yoga I will be out in the garden, walking or singing with my choir.

Yoga is not about tying yourself in knots or wrapping your leg around your head as many images would have you believe. It's about combining physical postures ( asanas), breathing (Pranayama) and relaxation to unite the mind and body so that we feel centred and calm. We can begin to build space physically, mentally and spiritually to find our true natures.

Yoga brings a sense of balance and mindfulness in to our lives.

Hatha Yoga is open to everyone.

Wherever you are, whether a beginner or more experienced student, there will be something here for you.
